From record fundraising efforts to unprecedented national expansion, 2019 has been a landmark year for Pigtails & Crewcuts. This year also marks the 15th birthday of our fast-growing children’s franchise brand.
More importantly, we have leveraged those 15 years of success, growth, and experience to inform our updated set of core brand values and guiding vision.

Many of our customers have come to Pigtails & Crewcuts for years, and franchisees and employees alike are afforded the unique opportunity to watch families and children grow throughout the years. These long-term relationships are fostered by a strong sense of mutual trust and loyalty.

4. Deliver Consistent Quality
Consistency is key in a strong franchise system, and it has also been one of the main drivers of success within our fast-growing children’s franchise brand. Beyond the quality of the haircuts, it’s crucial to maintain high quality in the condition of each salon and location – an area where our franchise owners continue to excel.
This year, our locations exceeded expectations on the annual quality assurance visit – driving customer demand and contributing to our overall success and growth, including some of this year’s highlights:
- More than 14 percent year-to-date, brand-wide growth
- 125 units sold or in development to date
- 62 locations in the current development pipeline, positioning us to double our existing presence
5. Give Back to Your Community
Last but not least, giving back and community outreach have been pillars of our brand since our establishment. This year, we were also proud to announce that through each location’s charitable efforts, our system was able to increase the money raised for various causes by 17 percent compared to 2018.
Being a part of the local community is important to us, and we encourage each of our owners to get involved in any way they can. We also encourage philanthropy, either locally or nationally, as a way to contribute and make a positive impact in the lives of others.
