Our Pigtails & Crewcuts company-owned salon is fortunate to have Manager, Charmaine Hayes, who embodies the spirit of the brand and has formulated an amazing company culture at our Buckhead location. Charmaine notes that she looks forward to the day-to-day operations the most, and enjoys being present in the salon each day. “The culture of the company and the atmosphere at our Buckhead location are second to none. Establishing longstanding relationships with the children and families make what we do rewarding.” Charmaine has been with the company as a lead stylist for 17 years, and has been a master cosmetologist since 1988. “Having over 30 years’ experience in the beauty industry has afforded me the opportunity to know the business inside and out! I feel the best way to lead is by example. I strive to be the best stylist and manager in order to show my stylists what true leadership looks like and how to achieve longevity in this industry,” Charmaine says. She understands the Pigtails & Crewcuts way, and uses her expertise to guide her staff, all while modeling the culture she expects the staff to emulate.
Charmaine’s tenure with the brand has allowed her to create relationships with other stylists and managers within the Pigtails & Crewcuts system. She has attended our National Franchise Conference, led roundtables with managers, traveled to assist with staff training, and is the recipient of our 2017 Top Stylist award.
Thanks to Charmaine’s leadership, the company-owned salon runs smoothly, and proves that this can be a semi-absentee business opportunity based on positive culture.
