Pigtails & Crewcuts, an Atlanta-based children’s hair salon franchise, has opened its first location in Mississippi. The salon is located in Ocean Springs and is ready for children and families to experience the brand’s unique approach to children’s haircuts.
“We’re excited to be able to offer something new for kids here in Ocean Springs,” owners Tacie Strauss-Lane and Greg Lane share. “There’s nothing like this for kids here.”
The couple had lived in Virginia Beach previously and were customers at that location, having taken their daughters there for their first haircuts. When they moved to Ocean Springs a few years ago, they jumped at the opportunity to bring a kid-centric salon to the area.
“We know the community. It’s very involved and we knew we could get the support,” they say of their decision to open a Pigtails & Crewcuts in Greg’s hometown, adding “We love it here. The overall family-oriented atmosphere makes Ocean Springs an ideal place for Pigtails & Crewcuts.”
Tacie and Greg are excited to introduce the community to the Pigtails & Crewcuts concept of making haircuts a fun experience for kids and parents alike. The salon’s bright colors and cheerful atmosphere, paired with friendly stylists and movies, books, and toys to keep kids happy during their haircuts, are sure to put all customers at ease.
Pigtails & Crewcuts offers a variety of services including kids haircuts, braids, up-dos and other styling services like the brand’s signature first haircut package. “We still have our daughters’ first haircut packages,” Tacie says of the keepsake that includes a card with a lock of each child’s hair and a picture of the final result. The salon also offers a retail section with haircare products, accessories, and gifts available for purchase.
Pigtails & Crewcuts – Ocean Springs is located at 3612 Bienville Boulevard, Suite B. The salon is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, Saturdays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Sundays from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
